Easter for the Dogs in Guelph
Did you know that every Good Friday National Service Dogs hides thousands of plastic eggs in parts in various cities? This year they are hiding them in eight cities across Ontario including Guelph, Kitchener, London, Oakville, St. Catharines, Windsor, Brampton and Barrie! All of these eggs are filled with dog treats! They’re hidden in a local park (in Guelph, its Riverside park). The eggs also contain a coloured sticker which will give you the chance to win one of hundreds of prizes! How cool is that? It’s a great event for you…and an even better event for the dog. It sounds like something my dog, Kita, would enjoy.
This is a fundraising event. They are trying to raise $110,000 for children with autism! How great is that?
